To fully leverage the country's duty benefits to the US and EU markets, MAS Intimates Bangladesh was established in 2010. Having operated under that name for more than 10 years, the plant was re-named MAS Sumantra in 2021. Presently operating with a headcount of over 5200 at the facility in the KEPZ, MAS Sumantra extended its operations to the CEPZ with employment opportunities to more than 2700 employees. Sumantra received the RMG Times Employee Well-being Award for 3 consecutive years reflecting the company's commitment towards employee support and development both in their personal and professional lives.
