Serpentine Canal 01 (large)

In partnership with Laudato Si Pvt Ltd, we installed this Ocean Strainer at Serpentine canal. Trapped waste was collected six days a week and transported to the Kerawalapitiya waste collecting center. Approximately two tractor loads of waste were loaded into the tractor each day. By the end of 2024, 157,855 kg of mixed waste was collected by this strainer.
