Serpentine Canal 02 (small)

In partnership with Laudato Si Pvt Ltd, we installed this Ocean Strainer at Serpentine canal. Trapped waste was collected six days a week and transported to the Kerawalapitiya waste collecting center. Approximately one tractor load (460 - 480 kg) of waste was loaded into the tractor each day. By the end of 2024, 63,431 kg of mixed waste was collected by this strainer.
