THULHIRIYA INDUSTRIAL PARK

MAS Holdings breathed new life into the industrial zone in Thulhiriya, Sri Lanka. We acquired the dilapidated, neglected textile mill, seeing opportunity in a venture others considered a foregone conclusion. We built a Fabric Park, the first privately owned special economic zone in Sri Lanka. Powered by solar power rooftops and eco-bricks made from effluent and discharge from construction activities, the Park is designed to be sustainable. Unrecognisable from its former avatar, the Park is buzzing with activity. The Industrial Park in Thulhiriya is home to MAS Active, Linea Aqua, MAS Intimates, Trischel and Matrix.
